Interested in experiencing the great outdoors? The outdoor scene in Memphis is emerging and visitors can now explore the Mississippi Riverfront in new ways. The recently renovated Tom Lee Park allows for visitors and locals to run, bike, walk or lay in a hammock taking in river views – or even renting a basketball and playing pickup on the new court. Visitors and locals now have the opportunity to engage with the river by canoeing with Mississippi River Expeditions – allowing for exploration, and taking in new views of the city unseen on land.
